Empowering young people to transform their lives and communities

Thrive Youth Development Canada is a charity founded in 1996 with a focus on empowering young people to transform their lives and communities. We offer a range of programs and services aimed at supporting the growth and well-being of young people, including mentorship, skill-building, and educational opportunities. For nearly thirty years, we have been providing art-based leadership programs to children and youth in underserved communities, addressing barriers such as poverty, food insecurity, domestic violence, and mental health issues. Our aim is to create a safe and supportive space where caring adults help participants develop the skills and confidence needed to make positive changes in their lives, leading to improved school participation and better social outcomes. Based in Toronto, Thrive Youth Development Canada also delivers programs in Vancouver, remote FNIM communities, and online, making a significant impact on the lives of young people across multiple locations.
